A madcap evening of stories, songs and strips to celebrate the publication of Nancy Balbirer’s debut memoir, Take Your Shirt Off and Cry: A Memoir of Near-Fame Experiences. Nancy will perform choice excerpts from her book (directed by Peter Frechette), and her merry band of provocateurs will recount harrowing near-fame tales from their own lives. Think book party-meets-old school “happening,” with a soupcon of gestalt therapy thrown in. Live music and books on sale!
